- How do I apply?
- Students admitted to UF and the Honors Program via Early Action will receive an email from the UF Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships with instructions on applying for the Preeminent Scholars Program. The email will be sent to the student’s UF email address.
- Mandatory interviews for finalists will take place during Preeminent Scholars Weekend, March 6 – 7, 2026
- What if I am not admitted to the Honors Program?
Lombardi Scholars and Stamps Scholars must be admitted to UF and the Honors Program – be sure to apply for the Honors Program when you submit the UF Common Application.
- What is the difference between the Lombardi Scholarship and the Stamps Scholarship?
- Stamps Scholars receive funding valued up to the full cost of attendance for up to four years in addition to $10,000 in experiential funding. Experiential funding is designed to support activities enhancing academic and professional development, including, but not limited to, conference attendance, research-related expenses, support during unpaid internships, and study abroad.
- Lombardi Scholars receive an annual stipend of $7,000 for up to four years.
- Stamps Scholars are part of a national network of scholars and are encouraged to participate in activities with scholars from other Stamps Scholar partner schools.
- Stamps Scholars and Lombardi Scholars receive four fully funded summer enrichment experiences valued at $18,000.
- Are transfer students eligible?

Transfer students are not eligible. Students who receive a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree or 60 college credits concurrently and are admitted to UF as freshmen are eligible.
- Will the selection committee have access to my UF Common Application?
No, the selection committee will only review the Preeminent Scholar application materials.
- Are these scholarships a “full ride”?
